A New Story | A New Frame | A New Smile

Memory is abstract, intangible and dynamic, that is it cannot be touched, and ever changing. The memories we have evolve as time goes on. Memories can be destroyed, twisted or altogether fabricated. Rather than trying to literally depict a personal memory, I aimed to represent visually, what memory feels like as a dynamic intangible experience.
Children Uprooted is a series of transforming the harsh reality frames to the frame the child in the photo could memorise. It’s a poetic storytelling to capture the lost memory, hypothetically!
