Children Uprooted is a visual-poetic series that reimagines memory- not as a fixed photograph, but as a fragile and achingly human experience. Memory is abstract, intangible and dynamic; it cannot be touched and is ever changing. This series attempts to transform moments of conflict into a tender imagining- a child’s possible memory, or one they never had the chance to make. Each piece is an echo of a childhood lost to war, a cry of innocence, love and loss.
